Astra Graphia Information Technology are currently seeking a motivated candidate to be part of our growing team, filling the role of IT Database Management Engineer in Jakarta.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with IT Database Management background and surrounding, friendly personality who enjoys interacting with other people. This individual should be comfortable presenting and communicating directly with users, especially by phone and emails.

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring IT Database Management operational backup/restore database both regular and non-regular basis which includes the implementation of backup/restore strategies and operation best practice.
2. Reporting and analyzing IT Database Management operation of work with technical support.
3. Maintain, improve, fine tuning Database Management field in technical area and also related procedure.
4. Supporting IT Operation project and related.
5. Analyze, support and solving issues/anomaly actively that occur in database backup/restore management services by taking into account the predefined SLA provisions.

What You’ll Need / Requirements:  
Basic Requirement:

1. Have A Bachelor Degree in IT or related field.
2. Have experience (min) 3 years hands on in IT Database management.
3. Have experience in managing large number of database (over 50 databases) is a plus.
4. Willing to work onsite on customer premise (Jakarta Selatan) & remotely.
5. Physically healthy (Medical Check Up will be part of recruitment process)

Technical Skill:

1. Have a basic knowledge about IT Database Management is a must.
2. Have a deep knowledge and concept about IT Database Management which include backup/restore and monitoring with best practice.
3. Have a deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Oracle (primary), Azure SQL, PostgresSQL, MySQL, MariaDB.
4. Familiar with replication system (Oracle Data Guard, SQL Always On)
5. Familiar with performance tuning and monitoring.
6. Familiar with backup management.
7. Have knowledge / experience with Commvault backup management tools is a plus.
8. Have knowledge / experience with Solarwind database performance monitoring tools is a plus.

Interpersonal:

1. Have a good passion in IT Database Management.
2. Pro-actively learn the new knowledge or technology update, and willing to share to related IT team.
3. Able to make the Database Topology or Architecture.
4. Able to work in a team and also individual.
5. Have a good communication skill and able to present to the management level.
6. Focus on quality.
