Industry: One of the biggest Indonesian logistics company in Jakarta.

Salary range: up to IDR 60 mio / month.

Job Description:

• Engaging Customers to initiate & implement continuous operations improvement programs in warehousing & distribution, cargo consolidation, and forwarding operations.
• Obtain inputs from the Commercial Group to develop new service products & teams to implement them.
• Ensure that the SOPs are continuously updated.
• Develop process quality control & BCPs (Business Continuity Plans).
• Implement all customer & vendor contracts with a view to prevent leakage of revenue & increase in cost of operations.
• Timely renewal of Customer and Vendor contracts.
• Procure 2PL services efficiently so as to minimize the cost of operations.
• Training & Development of the Team Leads in the Operations Group.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree.
• 15 years of solid experience in related position.
• Mandatory strong knowledge of warehousing & distribution operations.
• Mandatory strong understanding of the drivers of profitability & financial implications of Operations.
• Have a good sense of risks in operations & safety-nets to mitigate them.
• Have proven experience in leading large & diverse teams.
• Able to drive operational improvement programs simultaneously in more than 10 worksites in involving more than 500 people.
• Ability to make business presentations with international clients.
• Fluent in English (business level).

Key Result Area:

• 20% improvement in productivity in respect of targeted items of output (first 2 years).
• Establishment of service level safety-nets to prevent customer complaints.
• Enhance APLL’s operational capability on a continuous basis by creating new serivce products and set up the delivery items.
• Initiate & monitor time-bound operations improvement at the worksites.
• Identify & deploy effective and efficient service delivery tools and establishing technology leadership of APLL in the market.
• Timely & error-free billing to the Customer.
