SOCIAL WELFARE POLICY ANALYST
Responsibilities

• Assist the Governor and work closely with Senior Analysts to research and analyse public policy relating to citizens' well-being, and corresponding social programs that would assist them
• Coordinate with the Regional Government Unit (RGU or Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah) who deals with social welfare issues to implement policies and programmes.
• Work together with external parties (thinktank, universities, NGOs) to create or develop programs on particular social welfare issues such as early childhood education and women empowerment

Education, Experience, & Other Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree from reputable universities in with minimum GPA of 3.50;
• Have at least one year of work experience (internships accepted) in a relevant sector and exposure to social welfare issues;
• Possess skill-sets to conduct qualitative (e.g. FGDs) and/or quantitative research methods (knowledge of statistical software – preferably SPSS, STATA or R a plus); and
• Self-motivated, demonstrating integrity to produce consistently excellent work and the maturity to handle confidential information;
