VP of Engineering

Position: VP of Engineering
Salary: Open for negotiation

Main responsibilities:

• Leading engineering team and data analytic
• Build & scale the engineering team
• Have a wide personal network of talented engineers to assess and onboard quickly if needed
• Working on developing and building APIs for a SaaS platform
• Comfortable with building products from scratch, or adapting an existing system
• Design and implement the best IT architecture for the product
• Monitor, supervise, and create reports on the tech team performance and find areas for improvement
• Managing day-to-day tech activities for the team
• Responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements and deliver a consistent experience for users
• Maintaining technology compliance with quality standards
• Recommends new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in software development (web and mobile) and at least 2 years in leading a team
• Preferably have a leading experience in an B2B software industry/company before
• Deep understanding and passion in the start-up world
• Strong leadership skill & proven experience in leading an agile development team
• Experience in front-end and back-end development
• Knowledge in the following stacks: PHP/Laravel, NodeJS/NextJS, Python
• Understanding IT Infrastructure and Architecture, including key DevOps tasks and CI/CD
• Experience with real-time systems that have an edge IoT sensor and interventions would be advantageous
• Able to build the team from scratch as well as to scale engineering team
