Freelance Finance & Accounting Specialist (Hybrid – Beauty Industry)

We’re looking for a Freelance Finance & Accounting Specialist to support growing small to medium businesses in the beauty and retail sector. This is a hybrid freelance opportunity (remote with occasional on-site coordination), ideal for someone who thrives on working independently and making real impact through clean, accurate numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Record and manage daily financial transactions (cash, bank, sales, purchases, expenses)
• Set up or organize bookkeeping systems using spreadsheets
• Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement)
• Conduct bank and cash reconciliations
• Provide cash flow reports and basic financial analysis
• Prepare financial data for business purposes
• Ensure bookkeeping is in line with applicable accounting standards (SAK EMKM or equivalent)
• Provide suggestions to improve financial recording and management systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance (preferably in SMEs)
• Experience working with small businesses (retail or services)
• Proficient in accounting tools
• Strong understanding of financial reporting for small businesses
• Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and self-managed
• Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Familiar with Indonesian accounting standards for SMEs (SAK EMKM)

We are open to both project-based or ongoing monthly collaboration, depending on your availability and approach.
