Data Engineer

I'm hiring Data Engineer (junior) (salary 7 mio)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and streaming solutions.
• Implement data ingestion, ETL/ELT, and CDC processes for real-time analytics.
• Work with analytical databases and warehouses such as RisingWave and ClickHouse.
• Optimize SQL and NoSQL queries for high-performance data processing.
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to design efficient data models.
• Ensure data quality, scalability, and observability across the data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python (primary), with experience in Java or Scala as a plus.
• Hands-on experience with stream processing and CDC pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and schema evolution in streaming/analytical environments.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, system integrations, and database optimization.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services (S3, BigQuery, Redshift, EMR, EC2).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Kibana.
• Experience in performance tuning for large-scale and concurrent workloads.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
