WE'RE HIRING — MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

Location: Jakarta / Surabaya / Bali

Position: Full Time

PT. Freight Express Indonesia is expanding our operational capabilities, and we are excited to welcome a Mechanical Supervisor to strengthen our Field Technical team. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, leadership-oriented, and has a strong foundational knowledge in heavy equipment and marine support systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a technical team of at least 6 technicians/mechanics in the field.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and machinery related to ferry operations.
• Ensure operational readiness and safety compliance across various sites.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot mechanical issues on-site.
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance schedules and asset conditions.
• Report directly to management regarding fleet status and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong foundational knowledge in engines, hydraulics, or heavy machinery.
• Capable of leading and managing a team (leadership potential is a must).
• Exposure to or understanding of Marine/Ferry operations is a plus.
• Willing to be placed or rotated across Java Area (Jakarta, Surabaya) or Bali.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
