Our Daily Bread Ministries (formerly known as RBC Ministries) is the publisher of Our Daily Bread, a devotional well-loved around the world. We have a fast-growing ministry in the digital world, and our office in Jakarta is currently looking for ministry-minded persons in the areas of:

INTAKE COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
  • Regularly monitor, respond and log all incoming requests into the appropriate software depending on whether the request is a project, a feature, or a bug. Requests can come in via service request form or emails.
  • Create tickets on team backlogs to capture the work requests. Work with the product owners to ensure teams have enough information to take appropriate action and know the level of urgency.
  • Escalate issues that are critical and causing outages.
  • Respond to the requestor appropriately – ie asking clarifying questions or telling them what action is being taken.
  • Monitor all open requests for lack of response or lack of activity and proactively encourage communication between requestor and responder.
  • Track and categorize types of technical and non-technical issues, and report this information back to IS/IT leadership.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and speak to those concepts in business terms so the end user can understand
  • Have a broad understanding of current trends in technology, such as mobile, web and social media
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Solid interpersonal and customer communication skills, written and verbaL
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Project management tools, and in Google Drive
  • Excellent in JIRA, JIRA Service Desk and able to pull reports
  • Analytical and organized
 
SCRUM MASTER
Responsibilities:
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.
  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and\cost targets are met.
Job Requirements:
  • BS in Information Technology, BA in Management or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
  • Good skills to coach team how to follow agile scrum, which really works.
  • Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum theory rules and practices.
  • Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Lean, XP, etc.
  • Knowledge about other methodologies other than Agile-Scrum, so that s/he can explain other methodologies to motivate her/his team.
  • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand her/his team needs.
  • Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing.
  • Know about the value of metrics and incremental delivery.
  • Knowledge about tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories.
  • Familiar with common development practices, Service oriented environments, and Agile practices.
  • Strive to live a life consistent with Biblical principles and demonstrate continued growth and spiritual development.
 
QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Information Services leadership, project managers, business owners, and software engineers to build complex, scalable reliable solutions using modern technology and methodologies.
  • Exchange ideas with the development team concerning the design, structure, quality assurance of solution, develop and execute end-to-end test plan.
  • Manage all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected.
  • Ensure that solutions are tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy and / or external systems.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
  • Three years of quality assurance experience in a multi-user enterprise, multi-tenant, distributed data-driven, and collaborative team environment with modern application development technologies.
  • Experience with SCRUM, Agile, and/or DevOps would be an advantage.
  • Should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency with writing clearly defined acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Proficiency with JIRA or other test management or defect tracking tools.
  • Proficiency translating technical requirements into test plans and test cases.
  • Experience working with Ecommerce, CMS, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
 
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain WarungSaTeKaMu.org website, and all other WarungSaTeKaMu services (e.g. microsites, mobile application, messaging bot, etc).
  • Use technology to find creative ways to streamline our processes, validate the effectiveness of our efforts, and fulfill our goals in the most efficient way.
Specific Requirements:
  • Male or female, bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Able to design, code, and program native applications for iOS and/or Android.
  • Should possess strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Proficiency with PHP, MySQL and WordPress CMS.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Apache, and other web related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Web Server administration would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques to understand codes, cross browser issues and web standards.
  • Willingness to serve young people.
 
CONTENT CREATOR
Responsibilities:
  • Coming up with content goals and strategies and pitching ideas to the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Collaborating with other departments and team members and brainstorming subjects for creative content.
  • Creating unique, simple-to-understand, and user-friendly content using good SEO techniques.
  • Writing new web content and editing existing content.
  • Editing and proofreading new content before publication.
  • Managing the distribution of content through our various channels, including social media.
  • Analyzing performance indicators and web traffic and determining the effectiveness of created content.
Specific Requirements:
  • Male or female, bachelor’s degree in mass communication, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in copywriting may be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of content management software, including WordPress, MS Office.
  • Good working knowledge of SEO and basic knowledge of HTML.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.
